We believe the stories that make up the fabric of our lives are important and should be honoured and preserved.

Based in Vancouver, Canada, Dear Flora (formerly P Design Studio) is a floral preservation studio that provides custom floral and bridal bouquet preservation services. Rooted to share your story by creating pieces unique to you, we want to be your trusted conservator to pass on your stories.  By capturing key life events and transforming them into priceless heirlooms through floral preservation, you can continue to celebrate them as time goes on.

Our goal is to cultivate a culture in which slowing down, being mindful, and appreciating small moments is celebrated. In a world where fast-paced and instant gratification is prevalent, we want to be a living example of how the paced process of preservation and the mindset behind it can be both beautiful and mindful.

our values

celebrating nature

We believe that beauty is in the imperfections, with every mark telling its own story and your flowers are no exception. Without using any dyes, sprays, or cosmetic additives in our work, we let your original florals shine through, with all their natural beauty to make sure your story stays true.

We see each mark and change with time as a reflection of the evolving journey in life. Celebrating this value by showcasing in our designs.

slow &
mindful art

Thoughtful preservation can be both beautiful and sustainable. With our process, we take time to select the flowers and foliage that represent the flowers you provide. Each flower and foliage is manually pressed or individually dried over 2 to 4 weeks.

When ready and where possible, we also find ways to integrate everything we can from your original bouquet to the design, including the little details like the ribbons and pins. Anything we don’t reuse is recycled or returned to you.

storytelling

Your story is unique, and you deserve a custom piece of art that reflects that. We don't believe in cookie cutter arrangements. We want to capture your story and transform it into something that you can take home with you and cherish forever.

We always love to work with you to incorporate other sentimental items from your event, anything from photos, quotes, vows, invites, mementos, so the final piece is truly one of a kind.
